This can spiral into a lack of movement and early deterioration of quality of life. Landau Veterinary Services’ mission is to decrease pain and stiffness to improve comfort and function.
Dietary needs change as animals age making nutrition even more important to support the nutrition of aging animals to maintain muscle mass, strength to the limbs and organ system function.
Anxiety and restlessness also plague many geriatric animals and their owners because no one in the household can sleep.
Many older animals will develop anxiety as their cognitive abilities diminish, or have failing organs that make them not feel well. Landau Veterinary Services will devise a program based on each animal’s needs to maximize strength and function.
