Dr. Kevin Landau (He, Him, His) graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. He then completed an internship at the Mid Atlantic Equine Medical Center, a medical and surgical referral hospital in Ringoes, New Jersey. For the next three years, Dr. Landau was a primary care equine veterinarian with Burlington Equine in Vermont. It was during this period that Dr. Landau began his foray into holistic medicine, receiving his certification in animal chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 1996.
Dr. Landau followed his chiropractic certification with a certification in animal acupuncture in 2001 with the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in Reddick, Florida. Dr. Landau continued with studies in Low-Level Laser Therapy, Applied Kinesiology, Autonomic Response Testing, and Bioregulatory Medicine. He has advanced acupuncture training for both small animals and horses from the Chi Institute. In 2009, Dr. Landau received his certification in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine under the tutelage of Dr. Steve Marsden from A Time To Heal in Illinois. Dr. Landau has also pursued advanced training in chiropractic and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine as he always strives to attain the best possible results for his patients.
I have been a Veterinary Assistant for Landau Veterinary Services for 6 years and counting. I spend most of my work day in the exam room with Dr. Landau. I assist him with chiropractic, acupuncture, laser therapy, and giving treats. I am thankful every day to be part of such a healing environment.
When I am not assisting at the practice, I enjoy spending time with my two horses trail riding. I also enjoy a good book with my cat on my lap. In the summer months you will find my husband and I out and about at the car shows.
I am an animal lover and enjoy spending my time with my chickens, goats, and rescue dogs (I have 8)! I am the main reception person clients interact with upon check-in and check-out. I also am responsible for many of our phone communications including scheduling appointments.
I love to engage with animals and owners and it makes my day when I am able to participate in helping animals and owners feel better. When I am not at work, I like to garden, brew my own cider, and tinker with my laser etching machine.
I am currently in my third year at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst as a Pre-Veterinary major. My goal after college is to continue my education and apply to veterinary school. I’m very excited to be a part of Landau Veterinary Services. Presently, I am in the pharmacy filling supplement orders, checking in patients, and assisting the team wherever I can.
I love animals and at one point, I was working in a barn, a zoo, and training a service dog simultaneously! When I’m not in the office, I enjoy hiking, playing video games, and spending time with my rescue pup, Arlo.
