Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a painless and effective treatment that works by generating a beam of coherent light that stimulates the body to heal and repair itself at a tissue and cellular level. This allows the body to resolve the inflammation associated with injury and pain. Dr. Landau incorporates LLLT into many of his treatment sessions because it works synergistically with both Chiropractic and Acupuncture treatments enhancing the benefit of your animal’s visit to Landau Veterinary Services.

This is a Class 3B laser and is a high power laser that Dr. Landau uses mostly for acupuncture point stimulation for animals that are less fond of being needled. It is also used for many of the same benefits as the Erchonia EVRL laser, improving healing and decreasing pain and inflammaton.
Dr. Landau has used low level laser therapy for over 15 years. Presently, Dr. Landau uses a Respond Laser (Class 3B) to perform laser-acupuncture or to treat acute injuries as well as a Erchonia Laser (Class 1A). Occaisionally, he will use both simultaneously!
Laser therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment for acute pain and chronic degenerative conditions. It improves the speed and quality of healing and repair for all tissues in its path.
The laser light penetrates the body without harming cellular functions, naturally reducing oxidative stress and encouraging cellular production of ATP. Unlike drugs and traditional surgery, laser is entirely safe causing no adverse side effects. The animals remain awake throughout the procedure and experience no downtime — an ideal choice for any animal dealing with pain or inflammation.
